The Hypersonic Mk2 Base Layer has been completely redesigned to deliver greater aerodynamic performance and improved thermal regulation beneath your race suit.
At the heart of the update is our new Speedcell fabric, a premium aerodynamic textile commissioned specifically for the Hypersonic Mk2 range. Its unique textured surface is engineered to optimise airflow and reduce drag across critical areas of the rider’s body.
The fit has also been refined with a shorter cropped construction, removing material around the torso to improve cooling and comfort during high intensity efforts. The result is a base layer that works more effectively beneath your race suit while helping regulate temperature on race day. The handy radio/phone/key pocket has been aerodynamically placed with the potential to further enhance aerodynamics.
Finally strategically placed Speedcell panels across the shoulders and upper back target one of the most aerodynamically important airflow zones, helping control airflow as it transitions across the rider and race suit.
Wind tunnel tested against the previous-generation Hypersonic base layer, the new design delivered an average aerodynamic saving of 11.6 watts, with peak gains of up to 13.6 watts at race speeds of 55 kph.

If you have a spill and damage your kit, Nopinz offers a discretionary crash replacement discount.
The crash replacement policy covers any Nopinz garment for twelve months. (Proof of purchase and an image of the damaged kit will be required).

If your new Nopinz kit doesn’t fit or isn’t as expected, we offer a no quibble return or exchange policy (Excludes Club/Custom).

We offer a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing faults in materials or construction under normal use.
